BALLOONPLANET.COM IMAGE USE PROGRAMS
INTRODUCTION
BalloonPlanet.com members have exclusive access to a unique collection of professional images which can be used to enhance their web sites. Under the BASIC IMAGE PROGRAM, a limited number of these images can be used without a fee. Additional images can be used at a fraction of the standard production cost.
The BalloonPlanet.com site contains 100 distinct computer-generated images of balloon bouquets. The cost to create one image is $75, representing a total value of $7,500. The basic collection is augmented throughout the year with special occasion bouquets, further enhancing the collection's value.
The decorating images have been created using photography and computer graphics programs. In many cases these techniques were combined to create an image. The cost to produce a single computer-generated images ranges from $150 to $450. The value of the pure photographic images is difficult to assign because of the work related to creating the items which were photographed. This aside, the cost for photographic images sold through professional online image banks ranges from $35 to $150, depending on how they are to be used.

HOW TO GET STARTED
1. If using the Basic Image Program, no contact with the Seattle office is necessary. Have your web master transfer the desired images to your web site. An illustrated image which includes multiple images counts as a single image and may be divided, provided copyright details are included with all separated images. 2. To get started with any of the other image use programs, contact Jim Parker to request an appropriate agreement. a) Agreements provide for a five-year period with no rate change. The member may terminate the agreement at any time and a pro-rated refund will be issued once the last image is removed from the member's web site. b) Do not begin using images until your agreement has been processed. c) Payment is due on the date that the first image is uploaded to your site by your web designer. BalloonPlanet.com is not responsible for providing any digital services related to the image use programs. Members must use the services of their web designer for the transfer, re-sizing, and uploading of all images. d) Charges apply for the calendar year. The first year is pro-rated based on the date that the first upload takes place. Members are billed in advance for subsequent years, with payment due in January of the effective year.
