ANSWERS
1. What is the purpose of the Processing Fee?
The Processing Fee covers the cost of credit card security, order management, and order tracking.
Orders placed online require less handling than those placed by phone, allowing for the $10 discount for online transactions.
2. Why is the delivery charge not included in the base price for balloons?
The delivery charge is determined by the time frame you select for delivery and the distance from our local delivery facility to the delivery address. Because these factors vary with each order, one delivery charge does not work for all orders.
3. Will sales tax be added to my order?
Most orders are tax exempt. The exceptions are orders delivered in the following countries/states:
Australia - 10% Canada - 5% Germany - 19% India - 12% USA - No tax except Washington State, where sales tax is 9.5%
4. Will I be charged the higher Processing Fee if I call with questions before placing my order online?
No. We are happy to answer questions and make recommendations at no charge.
5. If I elect to place my order by phone, when can I do so?
Orders can be placed by phone Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm Pacific Time.
6. When I call 866-340-1268, where does the call go?
All calls to 866-340-1268 are routed to Balloon Planet headquarters in Seattle, Washington.
7. Is it possible to speak to a local branch office?
Balloon Planet processes most orders through the hub office in Seattle. We redirect customers to local branch offices only in cases where the assistance of a local manager would be necessary to assist with an unusual request.
