BALLOON WEIGHT GUIDELINES

A. CUSTOM BALLOON BOUQUET ORDERS 

Situation 1: A variety of balloons have been individually ordered, without a weight.
Solution: Include one weight at no extra charge. Balloons that are ordered a la carte are more expensive than those offered in bouquets, sufficient to cover the product cost for one weight.

Situation 2: If partner determines that more than one weight is required.
Solution: Contact Balloon Planet or the customer and get approval for the additional charge for added weights.

Situation 3: If customer requests weights in the special instructions but did not order them.
Solution: Contact Balloon Planet or the customer and get approval for the additional charge for added weights. 

B. BULK ORDERS (11in and 16in Latex, 18in Mylar Balloons)

Our pricing was established with the understanding that partners will provide plastic bags or sand weights for bulk orders. Latex 11in and 18in mylar balloons should be weighted in groups of 25-35. Latex 16in balloons should be weighted in groups of 10-15.

Exception: If the delivery of a bulk order is directly to the event room, the order may be delivered without weights/bags if the balloons can be secured to chairs or table legs in manageable groups, using slip knots. Also, there is no need to weight/bag the balloons if they are intended to float on the ceiling. In that case the partner should release the balloons to the ceiling and make sure the ceiling is balloon friendly.

If plastic bags are used, make sure the bags are ventilated. Non-ventilated bags will slow the drying of Hi-Float and reduce float time significantly.

If a customer places an order and has added weights to the order, but no clear special instructions are provided, the customer should be contacted to clarify details. Partners are encouraged to make this call.

C. 3FT BALLOONS

These balloons each come with an individual weight attached to the balloon with a tether line. The line should be ribbon unless the customer has requested fishing line or another product. Check with the customer for the desired length of the tether line.

If the customer requests that the balloons be arranged into groups, such as 3 balloons tied to a single weight, no price adjustment is necessary because fewer weights are used.

D. JUMBO NUMBERS AND LETTER

These balloons do not come with weights when purchased individually. Add $7.95 per weight if the customer wants the balloons set up to spell out a message.
