1. What cities does Balloon Planet serve?
Balloon Planet is a network of independent balloon companies providing service to over 500 cities in the USA and Canada. To quickly determine if service is available in the city where you need it, enter the Zip or Postal Code in the form located at the top of the department page here.
2. Are the balloons inflated with helium prior to delivery?
All balloon bouquets and bulk balloon orders are inflated with helium and delivered in person by one of our local partners.
3. Can I customize my order?
Yes, customers may create their own bouquet from a large selection of individual balloons. Visit the link in the following question for more details.
4. How do I place an order?

5. What are all of the charges related to placing an order?
The cost for an order includes some or all of the following components:
1) Cost of balloons (Our minimum order is $49.95 worth of balloons.)
2) Cost of non-balloon gift items (candy, Teddy Bear)
3) Delivery charge
4) Processing Fee (in some cities)
5) Sales Tax (in some cities)
6. How can I learn the delivery charge before placing my order?
The delivery charge, processing fee, and applicable taxes will appear in your shopping cart as soon as you add an item to the cart and select the delivery time desired.

8. How late may I place an order?
Ordering deadlines vary between cities. To see if service is available when you need it, use the zip code/postal code search feature.
9. Are same-day orders possible?
Same day service is available in some cities. To see if service is available when you need it, use the zip code/postal code search feature. Same-day orders must be placed by the customer online.
10. How far in advance can I place an order?
Orders may be placed 60 days in advance.
11. What are the delivery time options?
Standard delivery time slots are:
8am - 2pm (not offered in all cities)
9am - 3pm (not offered in all cities)
10am - 4pm
Shorter time frames are offered in some cities. If a shorter time frame is available it will appear in the delivery slot window located on the shopping cart page.

12. How can I confirm that an order has been delivered?
Delivery confirmations are emailed to customers within 12 hours of delivery.

15. Can Balloon Planet deliver to schools and hospitals?
Many schools and hospitals have restrictions on balloon deliveries. Please contact the respective institution for approval, prior to ordering.

16. What happens if the recipient is not present upon delivery?
Because many of us leave work early to celebrate special occasions, customers are encouraged to check that the recipient will be at work on the scheduled delivery day.
If the recipient is absent from a place of business when we arrive, the order will be left with colleagues.
17. What happens if the delivery is refused?
If the delivery is refused by the recipient or if the building will not permit us to leave the balloons for the recipient, the order will be returned to the shop, where it will be held for pickup by the recipient. No refund will be issue in such cases. If a redelivery is requested, an additional service charge may apply.

19. What is Hi-Float?
Hi-Float is a liquid sealant which coats the interior surface of latex balloons and reduces the speed at which helium escapes through the latex pores. When applied to balloons to be used indoors, it can increase the float time by several days. Hi-Float is non-toxic and water soluble.
20. What is your float time guarantee?
We guarantee a float time of 2 days for all latex and mylar balloons used indoors. There is no warranty for balloons used outdoors.
21. How can I prevent balloons from popping?
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, sharp or hot objects, and tiled ceilings. Before releasing a group of balloons to float on the ceiling, release two or three as a test.
